Medusa is a compilation of the noble leader Nefertiti with medusa from Greek and Roman mythology. Nefertiti was an Egyptian ruler, and the bust that was made of her became famous. It was famous because of the way the artist had captured delicateness mixed with nobility and strength. I combined medusa with Nefertiti to create a woman of strength, nobility and legend. The snakes that create her hair are all poisonous, and among them are cobra and Colorado rattlesnake. Medusa is in profile in front of a wrought iron fence created in the art nouveau style. This sky is a soft blue with fluffy dainty clouds rolling across it. Her shirt is a traditional blouse that has been worn for hundreds of years.
